Perth school girl “hung from a tree”

Police are investigating an alleged incident of extreme bullying at a Perth primary school.

Amber, 11, alleges one of her peers tied a skipping rope around her neck and hung her from a tree at Queen of Apostles Catholic School in Riverton last Friday.

Her mother, Belinda Yoon, told 9NEWS Amber’s toes were scraping the ground and she couldn’t breathe.

Ms Yoon feared her daughter, who has a rare heart defect, could have died if a teacher didn’t run over and free her.
